Family run, efficient and friendly. Good new facilities. Excellent restaurant. Well-maintained grounds. Staff presence on site. Well-managed pool.
Reception opened but un-manned on our arrival, we didn't know this could happen... had you said arrive after 13.30 then we would have done!
Pitch 10 was lovely and well-maintained.
None, it was delightful.

Brilliant
Warmer showers. The following is not a negative, it won’t allow me to write in the other boxes. The grounds were beautiful and so well maintained, wonderful swimming pool, shower blocks are new. The whole site even though big was so peaceful. The site was so close to Caen, Bayeux and the Normandy beaches and memorials, the staff were friendly and so helpful, will definitely stay here again, very Happy.

Un camping agréable et très bien en soi Un bar agréable une piscine un peu petite mais qui suffit vu le nombre d’enfant qu’il y avait dedans peut être avec un peu plus d’équipement genre un toboggan mais ça parait compliqué vu l’emplacement. Un site superbe, un calme olympien, la possibilité de faire du Ping Ping et du badminton ou du billard ( baby) au bar Un peu plus d’animation aurait été les bienvenus. Après je n’y étais que trois jours sur 5 Le calme pour nous s’était très bien Et le personnel était au top

Bonne Taille de l’emplacement en tout cas pour une tente de grande taille Un bâtiment correct pour la vaisselle et les toilettes
Selon l’emplacement où on est les bornes de branchement pour l’électricité sont trop loin cependant ça a été vite remédié car vous m’avez prêté une rallonge je vous en remercie Pour les emplacements qui sont tout au bout a l’entrée du château le bâtiment pour les toilettes et faire la vaisselle est un peu loin mon emplacement était au milieu donc pour moi ça allait.

Superbe accueil, lieu magnifique et gigantesque !!! Le week end de notre mariage fut trop court pour en profiter mais nous reviendrons ! Les gîtes sont très bien équipés, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour le quotidien ! C'est top ! Les chambres sont ... splendides... c'est un bonheur de se réveiller le matin dans un tel endroit...

Nurserie pas adaptée pour laver les bébés, la table à langer ne s'ouvre pas en totalité et il n'y a pas de plan de travail juste à côté de la petite baignoire, espace très petit

Nous avons passé le temps en dehors du camping pour visiter la région mais l'accueil est chalereux et complet. L'assistance est rapide en cas de besoin même après les heures de bureau. Par contre, on y trouve un peu de déchet biologique des amis à 4 pattes de l'Homme même à côté de ma tente. C'est la faute au propriétaire mais le camping peu faire mieux pour rappeler le civisme aux campeurs.

Dommage, on n’a pas eu de chance avec la météo cette année…
Emplacement très bien entretenus. Je recommande vivement aussi les chambres d’hôtes dans le château! On en a profité une nuit, vu la météo….

Had a great few days. Lovely location and good service from all staff on site. Clean facilities, lovely meal on site and good resources in the shop.
Our pitch was quiet with hedge dividers which we like. Gives privacy. Plenty of shade for the dog. Good size and flat for the camper van.

Merci à Monsieur De Chassey de nous avoir permis de célébrer notre mariage dans le magnifique château de Martragny ! Tout fut absolument formidable, du premier contact à la fin du séjour ! Le château est superbe, les logements confortables, il a été plus qu'agréable d'avoir pu avoir accès à l'ensemble du domaine pour ce week-end de fête ! La salle de réception est magnifique et a pu accueillir tous nos invités pour notre réception ! Encore un très grand merci Monsieur De Chassey !! Bien amicalement, Margot et Antonin Vary
Avoir accès à l'ensemble du château, chambre et gîtes, salons de réception, cuisine nous a permis de rassembler nos proches pour un week-end festif extrêmement réussi !!

The grounds and staff are wonderful, nothing too much trouble. Beautiful large pitches and facilities on site are excellent from the shop to the pool.
Water could be a bit on the cold side in the shower at the side of the chateau

Mooie camping gedeelte direct rond het kasteel
Er werd hard gereden op de oprijlaan, tevens lijkt alle aandacht (en verzorging) te gaan naar de campingplaatsen direct rond het kasteel. De campingplaatsen bij de oprijlaan hadden wel stroompunten, maar deze lagen erg ver van de plaatsen af. de waterpunten ook zeer beperkt en lage druk. Plaatsen waren erg nat.De jongen met de donkere haren bij aankomst bij de receptie mag een lesje krijgen in klantvriendelijkheid...
Nederlandse animatie voor de kinderen.
Sanitair gebouw bovenaan (bij de oprijlaan) was erg smerig, veel ongedierte, mos, slecht onderhouden en er werd letterlijk met de Franse slag gepoetst.

We stayed for a week.The site is close to Bayeux and the D Day beaches and museums. It is very easy to find. The site is in the grounds of the old chateau and visually is most appealing. There is a basic shop which stocks the essentials. The weather was somewhat rainy for our stay, so inevitably that influences the overall impression of the holiday. We have used Castels many times before and were expecting great things. This site is below Castels standards in my opinion.
Reception staff were, with one notable exception, unenthusiastic almost indifferent. The evening that we went to the on site restaurant was rainy and the place was extremely busy. The manager was almost rude to us and we had a 45 minute wait for a table. The meal however was really tasty. There is a modern sanitation block which is excellent but also very busy.
It was okay. A lot of comings and goings. We speculated that it being so near to the ferry port, that it might be used as something of a stopover site.
The pitch was next to an apple tree which overhung the car parking spot. It was impossible to park up without the lower branches hitting the car. The access to the pitch was over grass. It had rained quite a lot and the vehicle traffic was starting to make the access into a quagmire by the time we left. The sanitation block adjacent to us was very basic and old fashioned. There was a lot of traffic going through the site and we wondered if the site was being used as a short cut through local villages. Our electricity supply had reversed polarity. This is potentially dangerous.

rustige camping met goede voorzieningen. Wij stonden langs de oprijdlaan met onze camper en dat ook heel rustig. Voordeel is dat je dan als je overdag weg wilt en s avonds wat later terugkomt je niemand stoort

Die Anlage ist fantastisch, die Stellplätze großzügig und offen, die Wiese ist grandios.
Warmes Wasser zum Spülen wäre toll.

De plaatsen waren erg prettig, vlak en groot. Onze caravan had voldoende plaats. Ook de animatie (niet veel) maar is erg leuk.
Wc bij o.a plaats 95 is echt aan vernieuwing toe. Als het schoon is gemaakt gaat het prima maar doordat er 2 wc zijn voor een 20 tal plaatsen word het snel vies er ruikt niet fris. Wij zijn gaan douchen in het vernieuwde gebouw
